Abstract
We present a study of the volunteer fire department of San Luis Potosi. Their problems, organizational structure, equipment and spatial distribution of fire stations are established. The way that works this public service is studied using spatial data analysis. The results show a clear weakness in both organizational and equipment, which creates a risk for the city in the medium term.References
