Abstract
The objective of this article is to analyze the interaction of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations countries with China’s Belt and Road Initiative, assessing the opportunities and challenges this initiative has brought. The research was guided by a qualitative and exploratory approach to understand how this initiative has become a key platform. Among the results of this work is a better understanding of the dynamics of relations between China and Association of Southeast Asian Nations in the context of this Initiative and the future implications for stability and growth. It was found that the Belt and Road Initiative strengthens economic integration between Association of Southeast Asian Nations and China by boosting infrastructure and trade, but poses challenges. The uniqueness of this article lies in its emphasis on the Belt and Road Initiative as a key bridge for collaboration between Association of Southeast Asian Nations and China, analyzing its economic impact and geopolitical challenges. It is concluded that the Belt and Road Initiative promotes economic integration between the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and China, improves infrastructure and trade, but faces geopolitical challenges and economic dependence.
