Abstract
This article presents the results of a research work carried out to find the origins and arrival of the Afro-Brazilian practice of Capoeira of the Angola style in the Republic of Korea and specifically in its capital city: Seoul, based on the establishment of groups of practitioners. The reconstruction of the narrative is made from the impressions and stories of its main protagonists. With this information, a dialogue is established with some of the representative theories of the globalization of culture and with the contributions of previous research on the history of this practice and its cultural pilgrimage
