Abstract
This article presents an approach to the colonia Tercera Chica located at the city of San Luis Potosi, in the state of the same name, in Mexico. The objective is to analyze the inequalities in water access due to the city expansion. In this sense, we discuss how, related to the concept of urban, some inequalities are created and show the way cultural practices are adapted by inhabitants to design and put on practice different strategies to get the resource.
